The vision of the Sacred Music: Unity Music Festival is to carry the message of Unity — a message of Love, Peace, Mercy, Justice and Freedom for all people — through the venue of heart-opening and family-friendly music, a comedy show, kids’ activities, music workshops, vendor shopping (arts and crafts/textiles), nature walks and wholesome food.

This annual event on our beautiful farm offers wholesome family entertainment that is green (respect for the environment) and clean (no drugs or alcohol). We warmly welcome our local and not-so-local Sufi community members; our neighbors and friends; the local Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia communities, schools, and places of worship; visitors from the DC, NYC, Baltimore, Harrisburg, and Pittsburgh areas and anyone else who would like to come and join us. Please come and open your heart to celebrate life and community in a joyous atmosphere of friendship and fellowship.

The Sacred Music: Unity Music Festival is presented by The Farm of Peace in conjunction with the generous support of our dedicated volunteers and the incredible performers who have come to participate. The festival was a proud recipient of the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts Grant for 2010 and 2011.

The Farm of Peace is the community spiritual center for the Shadhiliyya Sufi Center East, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.  The Farm of Peace offers a growing CSA program (Community Supported Agriculture), thriving Sufi spiritual programs and retreats, and farm programs including farm camps, farm tours, school field trips and service programs. We are committed to living sustainably. The Farm offers overnight accommodations and is a member of the Pennsylvania Farm Vacation Association.  A peaceful atmosphere, picturesque rolling foothills, and our animal residents make this a lovely family destination.
