The Farm of Peace is home to a flock of heritage breed Tunis sheep. The staff will be happy to introduce you if you want to meet them up close.  Please don’t enter livestock enclosures on your own.

We have about a dozen Tunis ewes, who lamb every spring, and two rams. The lambs are born reddish brown and develop white wool as they grow up.  We raise our sheep mostly for meat, and they also produce wool.

Sometimes we have poultry, depending on the season.

Our friendly farm cats love to be petted and will often follow along on walks (when they’re not napping).   Animals aren’t permitted inside the retreat center, out of respect for people who have allergies.

Visiting dogs must be kept on a leash for their safety and for the safety of our livestock.
